Why are people blaming young gay men for the success of CMBYN when they’re the ones who are at most risk.

I literally do not give a flying fuck about How This Makes LGBTs Look until we talk about how young gay/bi men are expected to enter relationships with much older men.

i am sick and tired of people who aren’t gay/bi men butting into this and reblogging funny memes about skinny gays as if this doesn’t have real world impacts on gay boys lives.

The fact that it was popular among younger gay boys (the ones you’re blaming for the success) should horrify you the fact that young gay men are being socially set up for this type of exploitation should shake you and not make you want to make sick jokes.

And don’t for one second think that straight society isn’t heavily at play: if gay boys weren’t so perilously isolated and terrified of sex and relationships and were actually allowed to be a gay kid, they wouldn’t be as vulnerable to predators in gay spaces.
