Schools do gloss over a lot of history and warp perspectives from time to time but some of you straight-up did not pay attention in class ever and then blame the fact that you didn’t know something on your teacher. I know this is true because sometimes people I was in history class with claim “this is the history they don’t teach you in school” and I remember the class session where our teacher described it in great detail and they were sitting next to me. Like, some people on here post shit like “Americans aren’t told this shit in school! That’s why I’d never heard of the Vietnam War until here today on tumblr.”
