if you genuinely think that the pressure to have sex is widespread and universal enough to systemically oppress people who don’t have sex then you are horrifyingly out of touch with the realities of homophobic oppression and i don’t trust you in lgbt spaces or around lgbt kids
there are places in the united states that horrifyingly recently legalized sex between two men. there are places where those laws are still on the books. “love the sinner, hate the sin” is about the sin of gay sex. it’s factually incorrect and downright homophobic to insist that “people are rewarded socially for having sex, therefore aces are oppressed for not having sex”, especially when you then insist that ace people can and do have sex while still being ace.
